George Miller’s masterpiece “Mad Max” made its debut in 1978, creating a new genre of post-apocalyptic action film. Being a resident of New Orleans, the slow collapse of government and institutions smells familiar. In the greatest movie for gearheads ever made, Miller treated the vehicles as actual characters.
Making the most accurate replica possible, meant cutting up a very nice 1978 Kawasaki KZ1000. While I promised myself long ago to “do no harm” and never customize another motorcycle, I just couldn’t resist. This is quite possibly the most film-correct “Bubba Zanetti” in the world. The performance art of this small project was marching with the Intergalactic Krewe of Chewbaccus Mardi Gras parade 2023.
What we do here at Bienville Studios is compose symphonies, but sometimes just being a three-piece garage band playing an AC/DC cover is fun too!
