With the collapse of the Confederate factory on Carondelet Street, and loss of my career as a motorcycle designer, I rented a large warehouse at 427 Esplanade Avenue late in 2005. Bienville Studios was the new working name of the enterprise.
With a total lack of resources to pursue real motorcycle design, it was a return to my Fine Arts background. While working as a waiter and daytime bartender, I began painting again, drawing motorcycles, photographing my neighborhood, and built a small casting foundry.
The dream of returning to motorcycle design was fading, It was a tough time.
